I'm watching heat pumps get politicized in the US, so after years of saying we don't need a new name, I think we need a new name. Many think "they're trying to take my air conditioner away!", this solves that.

This is a circa 1920 coal camp house that we spray foamed and then installed a 1.5 ton heat pump in. When it was 0° out two space heaters by themselves, keep the house above 60. So the house is cool as hell, but also showcases what all Electric can do

The #1 thing about overheating is it makes your brain work bad. WAY before the "real" symptoms like dizziness, headache, weak pulse, cramps, nausea, etc. So by the time the "real" symptoms show up? You're already so fuzzy, you can't tell that you're in trouble. That's how people get heat stroke!
Make the climate extreme enough, and any older energy technology becomes intermittent. 🔌💡
