It has already been documented that Toronto police and fare inspectors use excessive force disproportionately on Black people and clearly it’s not improving.
Appalling and scary. Striking workers shouldn’t have to worry about someone driving their car through their picket line. I’m in Ontario but if you’re near Surrey, please head to 3601 Nico Wynd Dr at 9am tomorrow to stand in solidarity with these workers as they fight for the fair deal they deserve.

‘Sex’ as an immutable binary political category, as referring to sex assigned at birth is a dead end. It’s a no from me. The fundamental logic is transphobic and not productive, and I wish cis people who are not necessarily transphobic would stop using it!
