In spite of that the looney left is pretending the candidate that isn’t politically savvy enough to say folks can choose how they celebrate 🦃 day isn’t going to be a problem. This is the key takeaway: Haley Stevens got everything she could have asked for. AIPAC spent the most it ever has. The party pulled out all the stops. Millions were even spent to spread the false idea that the most popular president in modern US history endorsed her. And it still wasn’t enough.

Because if one campaign can show that *that* much money and *that* much old guard support doesn’t guarantee victory, it cracks open what can be imagined. It widens the aperture of what’s possible.
A new report found hundreds of cases where immigration officials misused tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets during protests, the majority of which were peaceful before force was used. Peaceful protest isn't a threat to democracy. A government that attacks people for exercising that right is.
