I still use textbooks and reference texts for engineering work because I dont have to wonder about the accuracy or throughness of the information and often I can just email the nerd who wrote the textbook.

I fully understand how AI tools like Claude is useful for coding. And it genuinely is useful. I dont understand *dependence* on it. Like, if you ran out of your token allocation, you'd be fucked type dependence. All knowledge of algorithms and data structures evaporated like a fart in the wind.
Dependence on an AI chatbot, in any area of life, is damn near incomprehensible to me.
A pet describes the ideal woman/wife to a lot of people. Someone beneath you, has few or no opinions, loves you unconditionally, works for you and all you have to do is feed them, pet them and keep water in their dish.

And the way that DSA stressed continuous community engagement means that the canvassers are going to be people who have been in the community before, talking to people who know them and what they do.
I know that’s a term so nebulous that it can just be a brand. But candidates who have canvassed or been in real organizing spaces seem to be running competitive races.
I know we are chalking the success of some leftist candidates almost entirely to the DSA. However, it seems like the more common theme is that these are candidates with organizing experience?
They could always sign up to give comment at a public meeting.
