The war has cost at least $100 billion. The Saudi have earned $47 billion from increased oil prices. The top six gas and diesel companies, Chevron, Exxon, Shell, BP, etc. have earned $50 billion. Next, the defense industry will see all of that many times over for restocking our war closet.

Utter crackpot. No actual historical training, and real academic historians (even quite conservative ones) pretty uniformly regard him as a charlatan. But he’s become VERY popular with right-wing politicians for spinning a revisionist (and imaginary) version of US history they find appealing.

Musk said people might still work in the future but compared it to people who grow their own backyard tomatoes. He said they could just go to the store for better tomatoes.

Since Medicaid is "the primary payer" of this work, it's unlikely there will be a huge increase in wages to attract non-immigrant workers. Are Americans prepared to quit their jobs to take care of their elders? Many have.
Can't get numb to this: The United States is stuck in a war it started, cannot end, and may further escalate to no avail, having dismantled its diplomatic apparatus, depleted its military stockpile, and destroyed its credibility. A historic strategic mistake harming millions in many different ways.

What I think is really good about Beauty and the Beast is that he seems like a comical side character for much of the film until his vanity and misogyny drive him to become main antagonist. How traits which seem ridiculous become hugely destructive when they are indulged as much as he is.
