THE LOVE OF MY AFTERLIFE x CHARMED 🔮 A selfish psychic is challenged by her spirit guides to finally see the otherworldly connection with her (very platonic) best friend or risk losing her gifts — forever #WIPPIT #WIP #A #R #PN

Purple/pink ombre zodiac background with gold at the top. Small golden page break, with the book title in ombre yellow/orange DEATH TO THE LOVERS AND THE FOOL over top of clouds in the middle. Text under the title: 82k Speculative Romcom by Brittney Joan, Agent's Guide. Two deep plum tarot cards in the bottom left, one with a sun and one with an eye.

Purple/pink ombre zodiac background with gold along the sides. THE PITCH at the top of the page in ombre yellow/orange text. Golden page break. One-paragraph pitch in a sans-serif font: Jade Lockwood is the Midwest’s most in-demand tarot reader, with a months-long waitlist and a reputation for channeling both the cards and the dead. She’s built a thriving business at Lunar Locke, but she’s also emotionally checked out, allergic to commitment, and quietly in love with her best friend, Elliot. When she blows off an unscheduled, desperate client for margaritas, a woman shows up the next day and refuses to leave until Jade reads for her—only to reveal herself as Jade’s spirit guide. Her ultimatum: complete a series of increasingly personal tasks to realign with her purpose or lose her gift.

As the lessons force Jade to confront the feelings she’s avoided for years, she’s faced with an impossible choice—her connection to the spirit realm or the person she loves.

Purple/pink ombre zodiac background with gold along the sides. THE VIBES at the top of the page in ombre yellow/orange text. Two polaroid images of the TV shows “Charmed” and “Sabrina the Teenaged Witch” as comparative media at the top. Golden page break. Four crystal balls in the middle with star circles pointing to a specific comparative book title with the image. The first, Friends to Lovers, pointing to “This Spells Love” by Kate Robb. The second, Meddling Spirit Guides, pointing to “The Love of My Afterlife” by Kirsty Greenwood. The third, Raw Look at Grief, pointing to “The Seven Year Slip” by Ashley Poston. The fourth, Plus-Size FMC, pointing to “Zom Rom Com” by Olivia Dade.

Purple/pink ombre zodiac background with gold along the sides and bottom. THE OPENING PAGE at the top of the page in ombre yellow/orange text. Two deep plum tarot cards in the top corners, one with a sun and one with an eye. Golden page break. Then, the following text in Times New Roman inside of a white-colored, rounded-corner box: Death is staring at me.
Rather, the Death card is staring at me for the third time this reading. I can’t possibly hide it from my regular client, Macie, again. She’s been on a journey of rebirth for a while and is at the precipice. The precipice of a mental breakdown or a breakthrough is yet to be determined.
I arrange the cards, taking in Death, The Tower, and Eight of Pentacles in reverse. When I shift the spread, the navy celestial tablecloth snags on my nail, toppling over a labradorite curvy goddess carving. Biting my cheek, I flip another card. Five of Swords. Shit.
“What? What’s wrong? Why are you making that face? That’s never a good face,” Macie rambles. Her round, hazel eyes are filled with what I’ve come to know as anticipatory terror.
Poor thing is an anxious wreck. I’m trying to guide her, not send her into a doom spiral about her life. “You know these cards aren’t omens or premonitions. They’re pillars of guidance, leading you along your path. This card…” I sigh, cracking my knuckles, rings scraping against my dry skin. I have got to restock my lotion. Eleven minutes left on the timer and twenty to my last client. Maybe I’ll stop by Sephora before dinner.
“Jade?”
Oh, right. The reading. I shake my head. “The Death card—”
“Death? Please, no. Anything but Death.”
“The Death card,” I repeat, “means your cycle is ready to renew. Paired with The Tower? Well, it’s time. Your spirit guides aren’t waiting for you to feel ready—they’re pushing you over the edge. This is rock bottom. Know that what’s on the other side is a brighter version of you.”
We’ve hit rock bottom over our last three readings, but maybe this time [sample cont]

#WIPPIT #NA #F #LGBTQ The Deceived, The Blessed Trilogy Book One: A princess, a lady knight, and their disgruntled third wheel travel across a magical forest to get to the king's castle. Their journey is going to be almost as challenging as reuniting the land centuries after it was divided.

The Deceived
The Blessed Trilogy Book One
Lakhia has been split for centuries, but King Bolen is determined to see it reunited. A daughter that his late sister supposedly had, living in the one yet unconquered corners of the land might be just what he needs.

Zora has always felt like there was more to the story of her roots. When two knights of the king's arrive in her village seeking a lost princess, she is eager to follow them back to her uncle's kingdom.

Charged with bringing the princess back to the kingdom, Iluaneh is set on fulfilling the task and protect her precarious situation in the king's army, even if she hates the man and country she's serving.

The king awaits his heir, but before Zora, Iluaneh, and their malcontent companion Marton can make it to the castle, they have to traverse a forest full of magic and mythical creatures, none of which seem to be as willing as Zora to see their journey completed.

Photos in three rows: on top a mist-shrouded forest, a girl in a folk dress in a field, a lady knight kneeling and supporting herself on a word; in the middle, a dark, lush forest, a girl dancing barefoot in a field; on the bottom a statue of a Slavic god, a sword raised high against the sky, a sunlit forest

Pitch

Shim Cheong sold herself to the sea to save her father. She didn't expect to wake in a palace beneath the waves, kept alive by a dragon king who defies the underworld to let her breathe. Nor to find a life worth wanting-or a god worth choosing.

Yongwang has ruled his waters for millennia. Countless souls have drowned. None ever drifted into his palm and swallowed the sea. Now he's determined to prove Cheong has the will to live, before defying cosmic order costs him everything he is.

Image:
Marine blue background with water overlay. Bottom has transparent coral and seaweed. Transparent light green box cuts across the center. On the right is character art. A Korean woman and man. The woman is of fair complexion, her hair is braided and over her shoulder, she wears a light blue top. The man is of bronze tan complexion, his hair is loose and swept back, his blue shirt is open to mid-chest. He holds chopsticks with a lotus root. His hand cupped beneath.

Text:

Characters

Shim Cheong
So painfully self-sacrificing, she is unphased by her death. Ruled by Joseon era propriety, she's never learned to want. Even her life. Must she be last in private, too.

Yongwang
Ancient dragon king who existed long before Confucian decorum. He's perpetually barefoot and without a topknot. He's determined to prove her will to live-and maybe win her heart, too.

HEARTLESS HUNTER x THE WITCHER 🖤 one haughty dragon prince 🖤 one servant masquerading as royalty (secretly sent to execute him) 🖤 forbidden gothic romance 🖤 a gritty world steeped in Slavic folklore 🖤 the ruinous passion destined to undo them both #WIPPit #NA #R #F #G

A gothic-style book cover titled "Root and Ruin." Centered is a glowing, cyan-blue dragon coiled into a circle, its scales etched with faint, runic symbols. Golden, gnarled roots extend downward from the dragon like branching veins against the pitch-black background. Text at the top reads "Enemies to Lovers," "Fated Mates," and "Fake Identity," with "An Agent’s Guide" in the top right. Subtitle reads "80k • NA Slavic Romantasy," and the bottom logline says, "She is sent to kill the dragon. Instead, she might become his only salvation."

A graphic titled "The Comps" in golden lettering. It displays four book covers arranged in a grid: "Heartless Hunter" by Kristen Ciccarelli, "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros, "Shadow and Bone" by Leigh Bardugo, and "The Witcher: The Last Wish" by Andrzej Sapkowski.

A gothic fantasy comic illustration of Iva’s and Konstantin’s sparring match inside a stone training arena with a sandy floor. She is wearing a sleek, dark grey military uniform, and is straddling Konstantin, who is pinned to a large, worn mattress. She holds a silver dagger firmly against his throat. He lies flat on his back, looking up at her with a confident, self-satisfied smirk.

A gothic fantasy comic illustration of a magical ritual inside a stone dormitory chamber. A Rusalka is emerging from a water-filled rustic wooden basin placed on a large oval table. The Rusalka has pale, sickly skin, sharp fangs bared in a sinister grin, and long, moss-green hair like river algae, which she is brushing with an ornate bone comb featuring a sleeping swan handle. Standing behind the table, Iva, in a dark military uniform watches in stunned awe, alongside her best friend Marina. They traded the comb with Rusalka for an important information as a part of an ancient magic ritual.

MENDING GLASS ☀️💾🌼 When a blight strikes, an optimistic archivist must track down the legendary garden of her hero with the help of an old world engineer—but discoveries about her idol make her question everything. ☀️ Solarpunk 🌷 Floriography 💚 Enby love interest #WIPPit #A #SF Currently drafting!

Floral background with the text Mending Glass. By Florrie Auclair. Solarpunk Romantic Sci-Fi

Comp slide with Horizon Zero Dawn, A Psalm for the Wild-Built, Violet Evergarden, and Fruits Basket. The text pointing at the various media are Ruins of a fallen industrial world, Solarpunk, Flower Motifs, Traveling to help others and find self discovery, Joyful but melancholic character connections, and Sunshine MC x Sunshine Protector

Character portrait of a blond woman making a heart with her hands. Juniper Penrose. An archivist specializing in botany. She idolizes the old world botanist, Miriam, who helped lead the resistance centuries ago. Optimistic and a little reckless, she seeks to uncover the past and find Miriam’s garden. Her drive to help people, sometimes comes at her own expense—like the reason for the mechanical leg she now cherishes.

Next to that is a character portrait of a nonbinary character with light blue eyes and duotone hair in black and blonde. Eli Winter. An aloof engineer who specializes in old world infrastructure programming trying to prove their skills are just as important as the nouveau programmers of the city. They leave their home and grandfather to help Juni break into archaic servers and hard drives—and often pull her out of trouble.

The Pitch
Data is as fragile as flower petals. That’s why Juniper, an archivist in a recovering solarpunk world, wants to immortalize the past in the Glass Archives. Safe from time’s decay, unlike the archaic hard drives of the old world. Specifically, information on her hero, Miriam, a botanist who legend says grew a garden of resistant plants—ones that could survive the blight ravaging their crops. But to find it, Juniper will need the help of Eli, an engineer who specializes in old world technology. Together they traverse ruins and follow a trail of flower language from village to village to unearth what led to the dark age of information. But Juniper starts to question her identity when they uncover that the woman she modeled herself after was not the hero she believed.

Bahji and Merisande sail on opposing ships—one as first mate on a pirate vessel and the other as lieutenant in the navy. Their love has endured fifteen years of secrecy and stolen time.

New tensions arise after the death of a legendary pirate captain—and the navy commodore claiming his flag. Bahji and Merisande find themselves pulled deeper into a conspiracy from opposite ends. It will demand sacrifices neither is prepared to make.

First mate on a pirate ship she stowed away on at the tender age of nine. She knows its length from bow to stern and each knot in its ratlines.Trousers under her skirt because though she is a lady—she's also a pirate.

Merisande
Lieutenant in the Navy, a woman of order and discipline. She only ever breaks for Bahji. She's stalled in the ranks and eyes a promotion, but they’ve never truly accepted a woman from the neutral Chaconia Isles.

Once, they were two girls with dirty knees and salt-stiff hair. Two girl stowaways in a barrel. Almost. It could have been.

Image:
Light tan background. On the right is a transparent brown pirate ship.

Text:

Excerpt
The iron blade of the dagger was sharp at Bahji's pulse. It scraped the delicate skin, and a shiver ran down her spine. The officer's wrist was slim, skin the same shade as the burnished copper coins in her pouch. White jacket cuffs neat and pressed. Unlikely to stain it with blood. Floorboards creaked in the hallway, but the blade kept her quiet, and the fingers kneading her hip.

That voice again, light but raspy, cinnamon in rum. Lips brushed her ear. "You've found yourself in a Navy Lieutenant's room. What were your intentions, pirate?"

Bahji tilted her neck and warm breath rolled down the length of it. Her voice was a hoarse whisper, "Wayward, I assure you."

PITCH

Desiree Palmer is a union representative juggling four districts and a two-hour commute she fuels with stale fries (crinkle-cut) and prebiotic soda.

Over a school year of budgets, grievances, and board meetings, contract negotiations build to a strike. She rallies the classified workers-the people who get paid the least to do work that matters most: Keep schools open.

Only there is a distraction. At a routine disciplinary meeting, she meets Santiago Vega. District's suit. He's worse than a rival, he's an idealist arguing from the other side of the table.

CHARACTERS

Desiree Palmer
Twenty-six and already leading negotiating tables. More a reflection of the work culture than her skill-but she does it. The more intense the meeting, the higher her heel.

Santiago Vega
Forty-two and has never really been wanted. He arries litesavers in his pocket, still uses his phone for phone calls, and bills by the hour.
