Here’s something we see far too often - car paraphernalia lazily intruding on pedestrian space. When cars & their junk signage already hog so much of the street space. At very least plonk it in the parking lane!

We need to do everything to stop Dutton and his insane nuclear power wish. I'm not opposed to nuclear on safety grounds, I'm opposed on the basis that its slower and more expensive. If only the incumbent PM was capable of making decisions rather than two way bets.

“I’m a bit of a jack of all trades: I’ve been a pilot and I’ve been a TV presenter” says a former school teacher, Chris Kenyon, presenting at an academic conference on computers in learning in tertiary education. And I think most of us can relate to that! #ascilite2024

A man and a woman are seated at the front of a lecture theatre having a chat.

Disappointed that this lecture theatre is really not set up for accessibility for Deaf/HoH. We’ve gone from not using a mic, to using a mic but the presenter being fixed in position to giving the presenter a handheld that has no volume. We’re now back attached to the lectern mic. #ascilite2024

In true academic fashion Gregor Kennedy begins #ascilite2024 by critiquing methodology dichotomies. Makes an excellent point about the similarities between the debates we are having now and those that were taking place 20 years ago
