Here's the tile sheet in the image editor vs. my best attempt at a CRT photo that looks close to how it does in person. There's a lot of blue antialiasing on the letters and in the eyes, and a blue line at the edge of the nose that gets mostly smoothed out on a CRT.

If you've got an old 3DS kicking around I suggest checking on the battery and the SD card. I've noticed problems with both on a couple of ~10 year old 3DS consoles. I haven't lost any actual save data, but a couple of .app files wouldn't copy when I tried to back them up.

If you've seen some lopsided or vitriolic shit on Bsky about Campo Largo, don't buy any of it. This is a thoughtful, well-written story created with love and dedication by a smart, kind, caring person that gives nuances and heartfelt expression to his (complex!) lived experience, and it's GREAT!
