I predict Farage will pull out of the Clacton by election today folks. He makes a speech at 16:30....with Liz Truss, no less, as his warm up act. She starts at 16:05. Laila Cunningham, the reform candidate for London Mayor spoke earlier.
Not to point out the obvious, but Ann Widdecombe was not an MP, hadn't been an elected official in nearly 6 years, or a Reform spox in 3, and it's incredibly unclear why either side would be building policy around such a broad definition of politician.

Difficult context for the debate
