Cowcaddens Road was a four lane road - it now looks and feels like a street. So many parts of Edinburgh have similar urban dual carriageways that could have the same treatment: making the city safer, greener, quieter and less congested. #StreetsNOTroads

I find it pretty disgusting that these ‘leaders’ see an open ethnic cleansing campaign against Palestinians done by illegal settlers and their reaction was to claim - baselessly - that doing the bare minimum according to international law would put British Jews at risk. It’s just a lie.

Stop what you’re doing and get involved with this. Cutting half a billion pounds off of RIS3 would be huge. We are wasting so much money on always more and bigger roads, and we should cut as many of these as possible to refocus spending on active/public transport. actionnetwork.org/letters/lets...

This is so important. Even replacing *some* car trips with a bike has huge benefits, and it could lead to eventually going car-free in the future. Moving away from reliance on a car can start small, and e-bikes are a great way to nudge people toward behavior and lifestyle changes.
