Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends reboot Three Company’s style where Angelica and Bobby have to pretend that Peter is a mutant so they can all rent an apartment owned by Magneto.

It’s absurd that complex word guessing machines have been labeled as AI by faux-futurists who keep telling us it’s inevitable even as it continues to shit the bed every day. It’s like a robot that keeps falling over during demonstrations. Oh, wait. They have those too.

The Outline vs the Draft is the eternal struggle between the Platonic Ideal vs Down in the Muck. The Outline has the luxury of being perfect. That’s its appeal. But the story is found in the Muck. Even if the Outline helps digging through it.

I never liked Spider-verse as a concept because a thousand Spider-Mans make any individual Spider-Man less interesting. Call it the Green Lantern problem. It doesn’t mean Spider-verse stories are inherently bad. Just not my bag.

This is the kind of insider tip you normally have to pay good money for.

The only *guaranteed* piece of craft advice I can give -- I mean the advice that is universally applicable -- is that if you kill many other writers and eat their scribere gland (roughly the size of a black-eyed pea, so be careful not to damage it) then your prose will improve immensely

The American struggle: Should we use our resources to help one another or is it more just to horde them in a cave, shooting any hungry beggar that comes crawling along? Truly, it is a question for the ages.

I don’t think it’s right to pirate Harry Potter because you dislike Rowling’s awful politics. You don’t get to steal her writing because you don’t like her. This isn’t a defense of Rowling, an obviously awful person who uses her money and influence to hurt a lot of vulnerable people.
