People act like "Cancel Culture" can never be appeased, but the truth is if your current words & actions show growth, a simple "Yeah, that old stuff was bad. I regret it and I am sorry for it." is genuinely enough to end a "controversy" before it's even begun. Too many people can't manage that tho.

The proto-Effin’ Birds was my Tumblr “Swear Trek”. It opened a lot of doors for me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. I don’t have plans to revive it (one daily comic is enough work), just wanted to thank it for getting me here on this 60th anniversary of Star Trek.
Sometimes when recommending older stuff to the younger generation, it helps to give them the elevator pitch to entice them, as with this anime I recently told a work friend about: "it's Sailor Moon, but they all have Iron Man suits and fight Terminators in the city from BLADE RUNNER."
