I saw Da Movie in 70mm and it ruled. I loved it. The Hades scenes were cray. Everyone acted the shit out of it. I cried at the end. Tremendous.
I was considering livetweeting the AV hearing, which I came on down to da Wilson building for, but it’s all quite boring, actually. Season 1 of this show, Mr. Uber Goes to Washington, was goofier and more dramatic, and in the intervening 12 years we have not made people drive less here.
This is a lot of words to say, “I, personally, prefer my politicians moderate, so I don’t like the way things are going.”

Yes, there are about 250 million cars and SUVs in the U.S. that nearly all run on gasoline and they make about 1,000 million metric tons of carbon dioxide each year and they stay on the road for 12-20+ years.

I wish Schwalb had answered the GGWash candidate questionnaire because I like what he’s up to and would like to be able to champion him more. If the council’s fair housing bill passes, his equitable land use division could be doing much more dope stuff like this, faster.

Martin Austermuhle@maustermuhle.bsky.social · 2mo agoAnother 10,000 votes were tallied today in the D.C. primary election, and @janeese4dc.bsky.social has widened her citywide lead over @kenyanmcduffie.bsky.social. She's now up 17.3 points. She's also closed the gap in Ward 3, to 469 votes. It's not out of the question that she could win Ward 3.
a regular bike lane we can park in is fine, but a protected one is unacceptable!
