I’ve talked to other freelancers (names you know) who’ve had similar experiences: work written and filed, doesn’t run, they don’t get paid. And we say nothing because we’re powerless, and like five people own all the outlets, so you’re never just burning one bridge.

Spent 20 minutes this morning sitting with my 12yo and asking the new Google search questions about Pokémon. After laughing at all the bullshit and wrong answers, we had a serious discussion about the power of his human brain and the necessity of using trusted sources like Bulbapedia.

All Lingthusiasm episodes have high-quality, human-made transcripts, with proper nouns and examples in other languages spelled correctly! (Okay, no guarantees the typo gremlins have NEVER crept in but if they have they've done so honestly)
