I canvassed for a couple of hours with Cat last night after an already fairly wild day. After the canvass I declined a ride home to enjoy a “quiet bus ride home not talking to anyone.” That didn’t work out, but I’m glad someone caught this pic. This has been quite a journey.

Any artist (especially digital artists) who have existed on the internet for any length of time know how absurd this is Not to mention she was one of the first artists genAI dips proudly stated they scraped without consent. Her art was stolen for AI use.

This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.
Yesterday I hiked a bucket list trail for me, the Top of the Giant in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. 22km and over 900 feet of elevation. I am absolutely knackered even a day later, but wow was it ever worth it. The views from the Gorge Lookout are unlike anything I've ever experienced.
In this weird age of genAI, I continue to appreciate Defalco's and their dedication to entirely hand-drawn, handwritten flyers themed for the seasons.

Found books I worked on in my local bookstore for the first time! Some of these were written and edited in the bookstore's cafe! This feels so surreal and wonderful!
When folks talk about older paleoart, I don't hear Graham Rosewarne mentioned often but I think he's my fave. Very shrinkwrapped, very stippled. 😂 I grew up on the Dinosaurs! magazines and thus saw a lot of his work, namely spot pieces. I spent many hours as a kid tracing/copying his work.
