This is why you see these folks on normie social media platforms only, why they have a strong lack of understanding of furry history, culture, and kink positivity, and why they feel so disjointed to the rest of the community.

I think that the only conclusion one can really draw is that there is a clique of tiktok 20somethings that adopted furry culture as an aesthetic to appropriate when they were stuck online in the pandemic, but don't actually have any roots or any interest in the actual fandom and its spaces at large.
Bad mentalization is maybe 90% of furry discourses. Pup hood -> they must only wear it for sexual purposes Feral/Therians -> they must abuse animals given the chance 30+ Furries -> I would be insecure if I were 30+ so they must be too Poodling -> they must not care for what I care about fursuiting
Bad mentalization. Some people believe that an action MUST translate to a certain meaning they decided, instead of understanding that minds are opaque (even your own!) Fursuit ab pics -> must mean this person is superficial; they want to show off their status and privilege.
I got @mitzyboi.bsky.social matching tags for our collars for their birthday this year so that even when we’re apart, we’ll always share a piece of each other. Thanks for making me the luckiest doggy in the world, I love you, puppy 🧡

I know these are literal children, but they are still "legal adults" acting like this. But yet again, we found kids who see the appeal of fantasy and pretend in furry, but become little fascist cops the moment they see something that's not THEIR fantasy. Sad and pathetic kids.
The recent discourse in the fandom regarding harassment and witch hunting has reminded me of this scene from Star Trek: "Villains who twirl their mustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well-camouflaged."
