Opinions based on fact; Brexit is nonsense.

A new government sets its direction early. I've just signed European Movement UK's petition asking Andy Burnham to drop the red lines on Europe and set out a real plan for the UK's European future. Add your name: www.europeanmovement.co.uk/5_asks_for_a...

Our 5 Asks for Andy Burnham

Andy Burnham must seize the moment to build a bold, forward-looking agenda for his administration to lead the UK towards a new European future.

"Harsh?" via Anti Fascist League (but you can try to provide Reform voters with all the facts and evidence - which contradict GBNews & Daily Mail - of Reform anti-worker, anti-women policies, racism, incompetence, corruption to help them change their minds)

1/14 A brief break from #TheHormuzCrisis. I've never really explained why the phrase "put the Navy in the Channel" to stop #SmallBoat crossings isn't, in itself, a serious maritime strategy. It sounds decisive. From a maritime perspective though, it raises far more questions than it answers.

A screenshot of a headline from the second of august 2026 which says, Reform UK unveils plan for largest military operations since world war 2 to stop small boats. Reform UK's spokesman claimed the move would render the border impenetrable, ensuring nobody could reach UK shores via small boat. By Helen Corbett.

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.

Sorry but unless you, as a media outlet, have managed to get someone from the Navy (probably a former sailor because those currently serving maybe disbarred from commenting) to explain that this is extremely unlikely to happen for legal reasons, then, arguably, you haven't really done your job.

Politics latest: Reform wants to use Navy to stop small boats after Burnham vows to be 'relentless' in tackling crossings

Reform UK says a Nigel Farage-led government would send the Royal Navy into the Channel to intercept all migrant boats - and is accused by Labour of "reheating" old proposals. Follow the latest.

Rupert Lowe pitches a deal from Restore to Farage's Reform. His conditions are full adoption of Restore's policies on mass deportations" including "millions must go" slogan on legal migrants + his policies on Islam + a referendum on death penalty + the ditching of Rupert Jenrick & Suella Braverman

If you watch anything on #Moroccans coming to #Ceuta, make it this report. CBS News have interviewed some of them & they confirm that social media posts on Facebook & Instagram told them Spain had opened its borders. They're playing with people's hopes & lives. It's awful. We must combat fake news.

I'm absolutely furious that facts and information like this are allowed on social media while every Reform MP is working so hard to spread misinformation and lies and stir up our gullible supporters who will believe any old bollocks.

"Sinking in Polls, Farage Plans Week of Attacks on Immigration" Reform plan to make next week Immigration Week It could finally be the moment for broadcast media to notice the > 75% drop in net migration since 2024. There is also a 42% drop in boat crossings

Bloomberg: Sinking in Polls, Farage Plans Week of Attacks on Immigration

Reform UK party is planning to hold multiple press conferences on immigration to turn public attention to the issue, despite the number of migrants arriving in the country nearly halving from the same time last year.
A total of 14,200 immigrants have arrived in the UK via small boats so far this year, down 44% compared to the same period last year, with the Home Office and National Crime Agency increasing seizures of small-boat engines and improving enforcement cooperation with the French.
The issue of immigration threatens to be riskier territory for new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who is already facing disquiet from backbench colleagues over reforms proposed during his predecessor's tenure.
