Structural Biology Lab – focused on remarkable enzymes of natural product biosynthesis

I'll save you the click-through: A lab at University of Copenhagen had been feeding draft manuscripts & data into "Claude Science" & then Anthropic announces a discovery that this lab made a year ago but hasn't published yet. It's plausible that Claude found the same signatures independently...

Four days ago, a scientist was surprised by the news that Anthropic discovered new virus genes for making DNA. He says he’s been studying them for years—and feeding his data to Anthropic’s AI as part of his own research. Coincidence? Here’s my story. nyti.ms/3VSWayc

A postdoctoral research position is available in my lab. An official posting will be listed on UBJobs but in the interim feel free to reach out via email with any questions or to submit a preliminary application. (No need to arrange for letters of support yet).

Ad for postdoctoral research position in my lab to study structural enzymology of natural product biosynthesis.

So (if I understand this correctly), the way AI (companies) will "solve" all the major problems in maths, biology, and medicine in the next 5 years will be by stealing and building on the ideas of researchers naive enough to think their chats with AI companies would be private.
