I got curious and checked “Last of the Mohicans,” and while it’s true that the prose is starchy, this opening paragraph is a banger and you should not deny yourself the pleasure of the effort.

They prefer the interment camps in the US where Japanese Americans were rounded up rather than the actual death camps. Of course lots of people in concentration camps die from diseases due to crowding, unsanitary conditions, and malnutrition. It's a disgrace.

It wasn't a smaller cruise ship that called for help - it was a tiny skiff with 3 people on board (one a child) that had run out of fuel. The smaller cruise ship (from the "UnCruise" company) was the one that answered the request for assistance and towed them to safe harbor and refueled them.

Somehow, his position on the political spectrum has disappeared completely from the National and State Conversations™️
I think it's pretty obvious to everyone why Fox News covers the race like that — they are part of the machinery that tries to help Republicans win elections but you should also notice that this is how many other outlets are also covering the Wisconsin Governor Election
they like the republican and want to help him win, so they cover his most reasonable opinions and ignore his most objectionable. they do the opposite for the democrat in the race, amplifying years old social media posts as the #1 issue in the race and ignoring her popular views.

If I hadn't been reliably assured by the fine gentlemen of the Supreme Court that nothing Donald Trump does as president can possibly be illegal I'd be pretty sure he's gonna break a whole bunch of laws before this dumb saga is over.
