As anyone in publishing will tell you, women do not resist reading books by men, but men will often dismiss books by women. This is not a publishing problem or a failure to target men. It's a misogyny problem.

kids, i have something exciting to tell you. I just financed a cybertruck through x the everything app. also your mom left

People will say the big 3 didn't see it coming but US auto executives knew this was happening 15 years ago and largely acted accordingly, making huge investments in EV tech and lobbying the US govt for subsidies to those investments. Then Trump got reelected and it all got thrown out the window

"Well this is awkward". The US used to to make 95% of international cars. Now about 18% and falling. ICE cars are low tech, high pollution & too expensive to buy & run. US makes 5% of EVs. China makes 75%. Oops. #Time4ChangeUSA #TheTankIsEmpty #2026MidTerms ⚖️ 🇺🇸

Taylor Farms' parent company has given $2.2M to GOP PACs this election cycle. That includes $1M to Trump's own PAC, just 6 days after the FDA delayed new food tracing requirements last year. Money in politics is sickening.

I wish more journalists would point out that Sen. McConnell and Rep. Tom Kean (missed 4 months of work) are/were essentially on paid sick & medical leave. The same employment protection they’ve spent their careers blocking other Americans from having.

It's wild that it's skipped Minnesota? And VERY inconveneint. MN's state public health dept is undefeated. Usually, nationwide food outbreaks keep going & nobody can find where they're coming from... until MN gets their first three cases. Then they figure out where it came from in like a week.

I’ll write more later, but this is the defining Lindsey Graham moment for me. Screaming into a mic to defend a Republican Supreme Court nominee against allegations of sexual assault, all in the hopes that Mister Trump would watch on TV and tweet something nice about him. That’s Graham’s legacy.

I don’t remember if Lindsey Graham or Brett Kavanaugh melted down first, but their back-to-back, angry outbursts are part of the reason Donald Trump didn’t pull the nomination after Christine Blasey Ford came forward.

An angry Lindsey Graham during the Senate confirmation hearing for Brett Kavanaugh.
