Always curious. On a narrowboat, hoping for a passivhaus one day. Landscape history, nature and biodiversity. Partially-sighted. Please use descriptive alt-text to help screen-readers and include everyone.

After over 2 years of pain & stress, finally managed to sell my flat (completed today)! We finally found a really nice buyer who didn't mess us around, & a very efficient estate agent who helped it through. Here's to new beginnings! 🎉🥳🍾 (And a photo of sunrise in #Iceland from a few years ago).

A couple of small icebergs on a beach at sunrise. The sun is off to the left and the icebergs look a little golden. The long exposure waves are pink. The sky is peachy. The ice reflects gold on the beach which is littered with small black pebbles.

Interesting report of what can be done to transition a farm profitably to sustainable practice. Alt-text: a vigorous green strip with wildflowers, mature gold cereal field behind it with harvester at work, short hedge beyond it and clumps of trees, with misty sky above, early or late in the day

Waitrose's Leckford Estate took a phased, evidence-led approach when it started to implement regenerative approaches, avoiding the dreaded financial dip. 🌾 How they did it: 👉 https://f.mtr.cool/quxyceihqd

An Osprey over the Clyde this afternoon. I looked upriver from Parklea and saw a guy fishing at the Finlaystone burn and assumed that meant there would be no birds around there. When i looked again I realised the Osprey was sitting very near him on top of a post. #birds

An Osprey in flightView of the river with a man fishing and an Osprey sitting on a tall post above him. The Erskine Bridge is visible in the background.
