Bills went up 40% in a year - ours is now £800 for family of four. Debt at £18 billion, piled on to fund shareholder dividends. This is a major credibility test for Andy Burnham, who said Thames Water should be nationalised. Picking a lobbyist for the firm as his chief of staff does not bode well.
