it's not an own to point out that all these fucking guys trying to deny trans people their hormones are so into HGH and whatnot. they don't care either way about 'gender affirming care.' they want to be he-men and they want trans people to die. to them the two projects are perfectly coherent

a thing I just remembered for the first time in years: when I was fresh out of grad school in 2009/2010 and desperately searching for a job in the recession, I was lying in bed one night unable to sleep because of it and came up with an idea so great I woke my wife up from laughing about it too much

Sustaining supporters make a huge difference in Ward 4. Even just $5 a month has a real impact in our community, helping to provide groceries, diapers, cash, and other support for neighbors. Can't afford to give anything right now? Tell a few friends about Ward 4 Mutual Aid, instead. Links in bio.

Neighbors put $10,000/month back into Ward 4. You could make it $10,005.

U.S. Park Police killed someone today in a high-speed chase near Woodley Park. DC leaders prohibited these chases — but last year, Congress overturned DC’s law as part of this regime’s psychotic desire to hunt people. DC leaders know what DC communities need. When Congress interferes, people die.

This is absolutely nuts: hackers are hijacking high-profile Instagram accounts by simply asking Meta's AI chatbot to change the email on the account. Meta's AI does it, hacker gets password reset code, they're in. A staggering security issue www.404media.co/hackers-simp...

Hackers Simply Asked Meta AI to Give Them Access to High-Profile Instagram Accounts. It Worked

The exploit shows the extreme risk of offloading technical support to AI.

The rules
Iwas fighting fascism with the power of love and kindness and just really getting my ass handed to me. A total bloodbath. The referee would have stepped in by now but they had knocked him out with a steel chair. The only others watching were either fascists themselves or the people trying to fight fascism with the power of love and kindness and they weren’t having a great go of it either. I kept trying to explain in between haymakers that we were better than this and on top of that it wasn’t likely to be ruled on favorably as far as the courts. None of it helped. I was on my knees now bleeding profusely from the mouth and nose. It spilled out of me onto the snow in a pattern that if you sort of squinted at it from the right vantage looked like a cartoon heart. See that I pointed. Look how beautiful the world can be I tried to say through my broken teeth. Alright well now he was pulling out a gun. I didn’t think we were allowed do that.
