I tired in yesterday's sun leaving a book, almost read, in the rain though got it back in before the overnight showers which are felt all around. Bernie McGill's The Watch House is set in Rathlin during the Marconi experiments. Slow start helped by florid prose, I found myself wrapped in it.

He cheated on his first wife during their honeymoon and called her a 'slut'. He punched his heavily pregnant second wife in the face. He wrote a column in favour of child porn and another pro-paedophilia. Prominent columnist for the Sunday Times and The Sun, Rod Liddle, is dead. Good.
