yeah the actions and beliefs of AI bros are an extension of rape culture and no one can convince me otherwise

What the hell must I do?

Artists just want a place online where platforms don't feed their work to AI. So I built Cara. But people just won't leave us alone.

AMA I scraped all of Cara

Will answer questions here or on Discord.
TL;DR: I scraped all of an anti-Al art platform! It
was a fun project, happy to answer any questions
here :)
Some statistics:
• Just over 12 million works in total
• 'VI 2 T B worth Of images
• On average images per post
• Average image size, --0.95MB
Total cost was just under $10 for the entire scrape.
Will release the list of URLs soon! I may soon have a
way to remove Glaze/Nighshade, please join
Discord if you would be willing to help! E.g.
contribute your GPU to a pool to process images :)
To all you copyright trolls out there who will
inevitably try to report this post, / am not distributing
any image files! Distributing URLs has been shown
countless times not to infringe on copyright, take for

lmao I was wondering "why are they being so kind and sensitive wrt this UI decision? (Let us know if you preferred the old way)" Turns out, the banner was just added by Microsoft (this is edge) to redirect users to pressure google into putting them back, instead of just reverting them themselves

A banner in Edge devtools invites the user to give their opinion on the removal of the tab icons. It links to a Chromium issue with hundreds of comments and upvotes, created by a Microsoft employee, asking to bring back icons

Imagine if 90% of trans women's activism looked like this. Imagine if the top priority of every TW's space was promoting masculinity; AGAB-adherence; and dismissing HRT. The analogue of this is what's ACTUALLY happening in "transmasc" spaces. 12K likes on the original drawing btw.

Original quoted tweet: a drawing of a girl in clearly feminine clothing/makeup, shouting "I'm not a girl!!"

Quote-tweeted by me: a drawing with the same overall style, but it's a gentleman in his 50s, classic style, saying "Genuinely how it feels being a butch transfem: We AMABs should not be precluded from expressing masculinity. Not everyone wants HRT. I fail to see any necessity for transition. This in no way make me less trans."

If you want Bluesky to take down Twitter, you should want Bluesky to become home for a wider variety of content. That doesn't mean they should allow Nazis on here, of course. But keeping this a safe echo chamber is way less valuable than breaking the hold of the Zuccs and Elons of the world.

Your counterargument is what? Feminist professors, feminist organizations, feminist supreme court justices, and the most popular feminist authors are Not Real Feminists, and smugly ineffectual internet guys are the True Feminists? Give me a fucking break. That means you don't represent the movement.

The idea of “harmful speech” is nothing more than a pretext to government censorship. They started, of course, with pornography, then quickly moved into political dissent. Now they’re casting entire platforms and formats as dangerous — as if ideas were weapons or drugs.

NEW: We filed a brief supporting a challenge to a Colorado law that would require social media platforms to display the state’s view that speech on social media is harmful. The government cannot decide that speech is harmful and force the rest of us to play along.

“we” have focused so much on who is and isn’t valid in the past ten+ years to the detriment of actual trans politics based on—dare i say—material conditions. healthcare needs to come first, not reassuring non transitioning trans people that they’re valid or whatever

Maybe I’m a bitter tranny today but miss me with this shit today of all days. This is an attack focused on us to dehumanize us and set further ground in establishing us as second class citizens, I don’t give a shit about cis women today in this issue, they’ll be fine.

There are so many more cis women that people will think are “suspicious” than there are trans women to target it’s inevitable that it will be mostly cue women that suffer.

Exactly. "Body positivity" is constantly used to vilify transition and HRT/FFS (& more generally, femininity) The extended woke-queer community would love the idea of a "transfem" community that is entirely composed of masculine bearded men ✨but with pronouns✨ (the only thing that matters to them)

body positivity is a psyop to deny us the right to transition

whenever I see something about "body positivity" its never about ugly or disabled people, aka people who have unconventional features they cant change.

It is always either about fat women (and when I mean fat, not skinny fat or slightly chubby, more like morbidly obese) or trying to downplay a trans person's dysphoria.

The times I see "body positivity" thats trans related is usually one of three ways

It is made to "support" us but actually presents as literal third gender freaks instead of our actual gender. Its not just severely dysphoria inducing and humiliating but also huge optics nuke.

It is said by TERFs. TERFs believe we suffer from dysmorphia and that dysphoria does not exist, some of them even changing the term from gender dysphoria to "gender dysmorphia" to invalidate our condition. (I hate using the word "invalidate" but you get the idea.)

Sometimes sneedhons and tumblrpoons will actually use it to invalidate one's dysphoria by claiming "oh your so hecking valid and cool with insert dysphoria inducing term"

It has also been used to deny us transition because it is believed we just need to "love ourselves" instead of transitioning despite the fact thats not how dysphoria works.

My point is I believe "body positivity" is actually toxic positivity because it either does more harm than good or is used to deny us transition and our right to live a normal life.

All of this why cis women who actually enjoy being women, and don’t see trans women as a threat are consistently greater allies towards trans women than pretty much every TME trans person.

transfems are in a fucking torture chamber where they are forced to defer to every marginalized group before they advocate for themselves but these shitstains never have to give us anything. maybe we keep making comparisons to racism because you hold a blatant double standard.

A lot of people seem to think trans HRT is a glorified placebo or just "affirming" or something and not that every sexual secondary characteristic is modulated by hormones Everything outside of reproductive organs we think of as "male" or "female" is hormonally induced

It remains absolutely fucking mindboggling to me how many people will happily and cheerfully advocate for government suppression of speech as long as someone, somewhere, can convince them it will even mildly inconvenience someone they don't like among all the collateral damage

To me gender abolition is just transphobia with a woke coat of paint. It's a lot of people whose obsession with wanting to be "Gender fucky" and different being mad at trans women for wanting to be comfortable in our own skin. It's repackaged misogyny and so-called progressives keep falling for it.

Alyssa ♀️@alyssa.eurosky.social · 2mo ago

Besides all the other shit, gender abolitionism is just so fucking shallow like “you’ll be able to express yourself however you want when we abolish gender” but ok this isn’t just clothes and “expression” for me it’s something deeper that you can’t understand

Transmedicalism still means “gatekeeping people from trans healthcare if they don’t conform to hyper specific gender norms/jump through hoops” but now it’s mostly used to refer to “trans person talking about how you should try HRT” or “trans woman talking about transmisogyny”

I haven’t come to the conclusions I have about integration/assimilation because I want to “appease right-wing cis people” it’s because I want to just be a girl and I’m sick of people trying to conscript me into their gender revolution that I want no part it where the end goal is to not be a girl

TERFs have always made space for trans people who are willing to throw trans women to the wolves, and right now we can see this playing out again where they're trying to psyop TME trans people into a framework that permanently associates them with an immutable concept of sex.

My favourite part of being a trans woman is seeing people scold trans women for noticing patterns in how people who are not trans women depict trans women.
