Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.
I fucking hate AI almost as much as I hate the sniveling asshole billionaires and shithole corporations who have all forced it into every conceivable spot in our lives. It literally makes everything worse and it makes us worse and I fucking hate it.

The "creatives" who use genAI at any part of their process need to understand I'm not desperate for new media. There is such a backlog of arts, movies, books, and games WITHOUT genAI that if nothing new was made again, I'd still need a hundred lifetimes to consume even a fraction of it.
I 100% have not changed a single goddamn thing about how I write here in the age of "AI." I write how I write. If the "AI" writes anything like how I write, it's because it stole from me. I'm gonna use any punctuation I like, and if it looks "AI"ish to you, you can go fuck yourself.

NES Remix contains a graphic that seems to be an "anti-brother romance failsafe" for Mario and Luigi. Despite that scenario being normally impossible to reach in-game, this graphic makes sure a heart cannot be displayed between Mario and Luigi.
In 2023, concept art was revealed by Super Mario RPG artist Jiro Mifune where the party was inspired by The Three Musketeers, and included Wario. The posts were soon deleted, but I have restored the images to the best of my ability.

0% okay with this. It has already been a known (and observed) practice for over a decade that digital copies of games can be revoked at the company’s whim. We literally JUST saw Sony remove over 500 movies from the accounts of people who already purchased them, w/ no recourse. Pure profit chasing.
