1/2 Richard Tice fuming because journalists interviewed his own constituents in Boston and Skegness is democratic paranoia at its peak. When an MP treats public scrutiny like an existential attack, what are they actually hiding from voters? 🧵 #ReformUK

More questions over Farage's £5m gift... Daisy Cooper, deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats: “With every new revelation, Reform UK and Nigel Farage look more and more like a bunch of grifters who believe it’s one rule for them and one rule for everyone else."
Farage urged to ‘come clean’ as fresh questions raised over £5 million gift
It casts new doubt on his defence for not declaring a £5 million gift from crypto-billionaire and Reform donor Christoph

What a repulsive man. I had eye problems. Everything from routine cataract surgery and laser work for retinopathy in both eyes, to a vitrectomy. Some of the surgeons and nurses didn't have flawless English. But as they were busy saving my eyesight, it would have seemed churlish to whine about it...
I'm glad it's been declined. It's a sadly familiar routine perpetrators trying to use victims to launder their reputation. If someone genuinely wants to make amends they do so quietly and on the victim's terms. They don't trumpet their plans to meet in the media. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
I know she's incapable of ever admitting she's wrong about anything, but even I'm surprised that Kemi Badenoch has chosen this particular hill to die on
I don’t understand why some commentators seem to think Badenoch is doing well as leader, when everything I see her do fits exactly this description. Sorry, she just comes across as very stupid
Badenoch represents double-down conservatism. Never apologise or moderate. Insult your opponents. Patronise journalists when challenged. Contradict yourself, lie, whatever it takes, but never back down. And that's how you end up creating an extremely avoidable Tory antisemitism scandal overnight
Well that's a vote of confidence for all Tory councillors.
Look people, JUST because Reform is a dodgy and dishonest outfit - and the owner and his senior cronies are a bunch of skanky miscreants and money-hoarders - doesn't mean you should talk about these embarrassing things willblack-53220.medium.com/stop-asking-...

Somewhat incredibly Badenoch has just been defending this man on the Today programme
Joshua Bonehill-Paine Self-styled "nationalist, fascist, theorist and supporter of white rights” who was jailed in 2015 for antisemitic online posts.... Selected as a Tory candidate.
I just can’t believe we’re seeing this sort of stuff from a sitting MP Just want to say to British Somalis that you are loved and I’m so, sorry this is happening.
French forces held a fierce defensive perimeter around Dunkirk and lost 18,000 souls. 40,000 became POWs. Without their resolve we wouldn’t have our nation’s story. It’s estimated 20-60k French resistance fighters died during the war. You’re only diminishing yourself with comments like this.
It's obviously a bit dated now, but this is *still* relevant after all these years.
He’s Saruman without the intellect and fashion sense.
The UK has existed as a state since 1801. The current borders of the UK have been in place since 1922. Do Reform UK politicians NOT know the basics of UK history?
So Badenoch would recruit a neo-Nazi but *not* someone who didn’t want to leave the ECHR or someone who supported our NetZero commitments. Second chances for this guy but not Dominic Grieve. The Tory party is truly wretched. It’s screwed the country, betrayed its own and lost its tiny mind.

Reform UKs plan to use the Royal Navy to intercept migrant boats in the Channel brilliantly taken apart by ... er ... Nigel Farage
French interior Minister on Ceuta after meeting with EU counterparts "The problem isn't Schengen. Schengen is the solution. Schengen didn't let a single person from Ceuta onto the Spanish mainland. The problem is "outside interference" whipping up divisions within Europe"

The Righteous Rupert Lowe-Life preached about leaches sucking the financial blood out of Britain. This is the same Whoopert Lowe-Life whose company took £100k in furlough cash despite making £7.9 million profit He really didn’t need it but it was free, it was available so he took it like a leach
Pretending that the Navy taking back migrants would be a humanitarian mission and therefore legal, is a bit like pretending that a £5 million bribe is nothing to do with politics and therefore doesn't need to be declared.
Sarah Porchin.. the face of a woman driven “mad when I see adverts full of black people, full of Asian people" insults the French with a puerile, ignorant comment because they criticize Reforms BS use of Navy against migrants And I imagine probably never tires of squeezing the paws of kittens..
