If SCREEN were to pass, you'd be required to scan your face and upload an ID to access this site because it allows "harmful" material. This affects you even if you don't care about sex work or porn.

Mike Lee's SCREEN Act, which heads to Senate Commerce Committee for markup on Wednesday, would expand age verification requirements to a nearly limitless scope of websites, and is supported by the architects of Project 2025.

The “best” thing about genAI (the quotes are doing heavy work here) is that it’s really lowered the bar on getting into hand-made art. Literally anything you make is better than ai. There’s never been a better time to throw away your fear and start learning that craft you’ve always wanted to learn.

i guess I really should draw these two kissing huh. i need to make it clear these are both 7 foot tall aliens who could crush your head like a grape. yes they are also pink and purple. one's even bisexual colored.

#SumLuv Lastly, Season of Blossoms has 3 meet-cutes, though only MithleemxYsaika's is particularly interesting. Ysaika attempts suicide by jumping out a window. Mithleem saves their life. This is the reverse of BDBD-- a funny book with one couple with a darker storyline.

Two tieflings embrace on a pink background, one shorter with thin, swirly horns. The more masculine one is taller with shorter horns. “Who are you?” they gasped in a heavily accented voice, one that could be mistaken as either male or female, just like the rest of them. Their white eyelashes fluttered as they struggled to take in the world, face contorted in pain. “What is going on?”
“Easy there,” Mithleem replied in his most calming voice. “I’m Mithleem Tsylgahra, your doctor. You’ve been through a lot. You need to lay back and rest.”
“Where am I?” Ysaika asked, voice breaking. They looked terrified. “I don’t know—”
“You’re home. You just survived a very long fall. Please, sit back and take a few deep breaths.”
	“Why does everything hurt?”
“Ysaika.” Mithleem lightly touched Ysaika’s arm, but they wrenched it away. “Please. Take a moment and get your bearings.”
Ysaika did just that, breathing heavily and looking around until their thoughts finally appeared to fall into place. They collapsed into their goose feather pillows, sinking halfway through. One hand grasped the blanket and pulled it up to their neck while the other clenched and unclenched, over and over.
“How do you know my name?” Ysaika asked.
“Who doesn’t know your name?” At Ysaika’s blank look, Mithleem sighed. “I’m your doctor. Your husband asked me to look after you.”
“My husband? Garitt hired you? You work for him?” Their tone had turned suspicious. Garitt. That was his name.
“No. I was attending his party with my sister when I was asked to care for you. Do you remember? You fell out of a window.”

#Sumluv In What We Die For, Erich and Mikayel meet when Erich drags a bloodied up neo-Nazi to a hotel room to prove to the witch coven there that he has self-control-- he needs to ask them to save a fledgling's life. When Mikayel admits he used to fight neo-Nazis, Erich's impressed.

“No, he’s just a neo-Nazi I kidnapped.” The vampire lifted a foot and pushed him over onto his back with the blank and uncaring expression Mikayel was used to seeing on vampiric faces. “He’s scum.”
	“How can you know that?”
“You can check his body. He’s got the fourteen words tattooed on his back.”
“The fourteen words?” Sadie asked, eyebrow lifted.
“We must secure the existence of our people—” the vampire began.
“—and a future for white children,” Mikayel finished. When Sadie stared at him, he threw up his hands. “What? I used to fight skinheads back in my punk days, remember?”
“Really?” the vampire asked with a flicker of interest.
“Listen, I don’t care who this dude supposedly is, you’re not allowed to torture and kill someone anywhere within our territory—and preferably outside of it, though I cannot patrol the entirety of the world. You have to let him go.”
The vampire frowned. “He’s a Nazi.”
“Yes, I realize that. You alone don’t have the right to decide whether someone deserves to die. If you let him go, we’ll consider this fledgling of yours.”
A handsome white dude with blonde hair in front of a bat symbol, named Erich Kruger. An Armenian man with curly dark hair and glowing blue tattoos in front of a crow symbol. His name is Mikayel Simonian.

Its not a hot take but man the way the word "content" is used these days. A vile bit of late stage capitalist propaganda, lumping all forms of human creativity and expression into a single wastebin teaching the public to treat all art as disposable.
