On the off chance you have not read the story of Grimes’ pre-fame, pre-“Grimes” Minnesota riverboat adventure fiasco, please do so. I want your life to be better and it will be once you read this.

okay the new avalanches album is actually dope. i was definitely ready to shrug that off.
tough morning for folks who saw YCSE over the weekend and have to sheepishly drink their Celsius in public
It's so funny that MapQuest was all but counted out on the mat after taking a beating from Google Maps and Apple Maps but they navigated (lol) this current fuckshit political climate like a fucking boss. Kudos to whomever decided they should position themselves as WokeMaps

A lot of people lamenting the Paramount/Warner merger and fearing David Ellison's control over the media are forgetting that we have three secret weapons at our disposal, currently lurking high up in the Warner water tower.

Some are saying Ward 11 Council Member Jamison Whiting is fine with dead cats.
If you’re moved by this guy crying boy oh boy are there some other images and videos you should check out
Outside the obvious timebomb of selling out trans kids to appeal to ~16 bigots in deep Ohio, an underplayed part of the whole "trans kids in youth sports" stuff is making the most psycho Little League parents the most important political demo in America. They're joy vampires for the kids themselves!
absolutely unhinged AI slop from Norseman Distillery. I could smell the piss filter opening the email.
me at the Best Buy checkout on the release day of Ben Folds - Rockin The Suburbs (09/11/2001) while the cashiers are over at the TVs crying
Initially I was frustrated with the rise of self-checkout but I appreciated how stores passed the savings on to me rather than pocket the money, fire armies of workers & make me do a job I suck at. It’s also why I’m optimistic about AI! I have been kicked in the head by several horses.
Mamdani is a charismatic guy but I promise you anyone can replicate this. 1) Unapologetically use the government to help ordinary people; and 2) Tell them about it
Kids today are too coddled. Back in my day this would have said: “Take me to your dealer.”
bringing our toddler to the state fair tomorrow. any tips out there besides "don't do it"?
AI is a labor issue. businesses think they are entitled to design, but they won't PAY a designer who has skills. so instead of supporting a local designer and boosting the economy, arizona taco used AI.. but they want us to give THEM our money? be part of the community then. AI usage steals from us
