Enshittification by @doctorow.pluralistic.net has been such a fun, enlightening, and frustrating read. I loved the section on the so-called Anti-trust Renaissance under Biden's FTC. I've always been anti-monopoly but I'm as convinced as ever that it is crucial in de-enshittifying society.

No one should have to suffer in silence to protect a man or a movement. The courage and leadership Dolores Huerta and these other women have shown in coming forward is remarkable. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering they’ve endured over decades. Thank you for showing us what real strength is.

Absolutely devastated and gutted to read this article. It is so difficult to put into words the utter betrayal I feel. My heart is broken for Dolores, Ana, Debra, and all the other women who were abused and suffered. "The movement — that's the hero." --Esmeralda Lopez

IEEPA tariffs have been struck down but trade lawyers have suggested a potential contingency would be Sec 122 as a temporary measure until 232 and 301 investigations have been completed. We're likely to see a massive shift toward sectoral tariffs.
The 6-3 ruling is a major blow to the president's signature economic policy. n.pr/3OtEZ2E
Potential ruling on the IEEPA reciprocal tariffs coming out tomorrow. While it will make a huge difference in trade policy—particularly if they rule against—it will not be the end of tariffs. We still have Secs 301 & 232 investigations in the pipeline that could have huge implications (i.e., chips).
