Its Ace Awareness Week so unfortunately, I have to make all stealth checks at disadvantage this week
I watched the Mike Flannigan Carrie series. It was fine, but it has the issue I have with modern video game remakes: They put in so much new stuff to expand the story, but it just makes it drag on too long.
Just watched the new Crystal Lake series. Honestly, I really loved it. Fantastic edition to the Friday the 13th franchise

I watched the new Resident Evil movie for a second time today. Still really good. Bryan's journey would have been so much more smoother if he had Jill with him to lockpick all those padlocks lmao.
A mortician, or an engineer at NASA. My interests as a kid were the dead and space lmfao
I would have been an astronaut
I need Guillermo del Toro to direct Nicolas Cage in an indie, budget horror movie with practical effects, where gen AI is the central antagonist, Nic has to defeat while spouting baller one-liners, and everything is insanely artsy and atmospheric and creepy.
Imagine being Capcom, making a shit ton of money, well reviewed games, an ever growing fanbase for gaming's biggest horror franchise and you still decide to shoot yourself in the dick and implement AI features in your new engine.
This is a lot to get my head around. How do you go from the single most beloved and trusted developer of the last decade and then piss it all away with this in an instant? www.ign.com/articles/cap...

My nuclear RE take: After a replay of RE9 and a rewatch of Cregger's film, I was far more entertained by the movie, and I think its the better RE project to release in 2026 by a mile.

Saw Zach Cregger's Resident Evil. Its very good. I love being a Resident Evil fan
The Resident Evil community on reddit is especially miserable this week, now that the new movie has been getting good critical and audience reception

As a kid, my fave side mission in Link’s Awakening was the ghost following you who wanted to see its old house, only to feel sad and ask to be taken to its grave. It’s so bittersweet! ❤️
