Abdul won your district 60-40 *at worst*, and even the Stevens voters are going to be big on party unity. Who is this for?
Hillary Scholten certainly provided us with a statement.

Eyeballing it, I believe the congressional districts broke down as follows El-Sayed, 20%+ 3, 6 El-Sayed, 0-10% 1, 4, 7 Stevens, 0-10% 5, 10 (just barely), 11 (just barely), 12 Stevens, 10-20% 2, 8, 9, 13
Polling error last night There were 6 polls in the last week. The two most recent were an internal and from a fake Republican pollster (Red Eagle Politics). The remaining 4 polls were Abdul +14, +8, +16, and +10. That's an average of +12, which suggests a polling error of 11%.
Did I get the night I wanted? No I never want to spend hours waiting on Wayne County to count votes. Did I get the results I wanted? Absolutely, there was Abdul El-Sayed, Will Lawrence, Donovan McKinney federally, along with a ton of statehouse wins including Abbas Alawieh and Chris Gilmer-Hill.
Progressives didn’t get the big election night they wanted
I believe the Wayne County website is just mislabeled, and we're actually almost done in Wayne County, with only the small suburbs of Northville, Rockwood, and Wayne left to count.
The margin sits at +3732 for McKinney in Detroit (left) now that it's fully reported. He's currently ahead in suburban Wayne +1322 (right). Given that, it would be difficult to imagine Thanedar winning unless what's out is purely absentees.
Oakland absentees are almost tied. Lol. Lmao. Abdul may even win Oakland.
Eaton absentees start the night very strong for Lawrence
l love when a white journalist reporting on “concerns of lack of diversity” in DSA fumbles the name of the Latina elected official he interviews for the article. My name is Moreno, not Morales.
NEW from me: What happened as the Democratic Socialists of America spent a rainy weekend in Chicago preparing their next steps for taking over the Democratic Party, taking down capitalism and longterm moves like abolishing the presidency: www.cnn.com/2026/08/03/p...
A new poll of registered Connecticut voters finds that DSA affiliation is viewed roughly equally positive and negative for voters, 32-34. A candidate being identified as MAGA is clearly a negative to voters, 29-53 www.wfsb.com/2026/08/03/e...
It is pretty sad that so few people actually believe in open borders
As a Muslim I'd like it if a Democratic candidate for senate could be a bit more direct and condemn these kinds of racist comments?
People potentially subject to the nyc pied-à-terre tax are being treated with 1% of the administrative hostility of SNAP and Medicaid applicants, and they’re throwing 100x the fit
A fifth poll showing El-Sayed leading Stevens by a margin in the teens has now been released
They found retiree in Milwaukee who said he was going to vote for Tiffany. This is CBS - If they'd been able to drag up a a second, it would be in the story. Meanwhile Hong is on track to win a majorty of primary voters.
Liberals will always choose fascism over socialism.
Just watch the original Blade and tell me that the script took more than a week to write. And everyone loves it! You can farm this shit out to an intern, what the fuck happened here?
Again the next time you worry you are not qualified for your job please remember that Marvel couldn't figure out how to pick a spot on the map, put Mahershala Ali in a Blade outfit and then write a movie where he fights vampires there.
HALEY THAT WASN'T A SERIOUS SUGGESTION
Here's How Stevens Can Fix This by Getting Even More Racist
It turns out insurance companies believe in climate change whether you do or not
MIAMI'S COST OF LIVING SURPASSES NYC FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER
Invoking policy proposals is such a telling move when both candidates involved have years of voting records, and a major story of the campaign is how Lamont keeps vetoing bills that Elliott sends him. Clearly they disagree on something!

I sort of conceptualize the US military as a lumbering Colossus, slowly enveloping the earth, which could never be troubled by something as insignificant as running out of bombs. But idk, could we at some point?
Tonight's strikes by the U.S. on Iran "will be larger in scope than previous tit-for-tat attacks carried out by the U.S. in recent weeks, covering more targets in a broader area, according to a U.S. official."-WSJ
A major issue with the establishment's efforts fending off individual progressives like El-Sayed, Hong, Chevalier, Kiros, Gonzales, Flanagan, etc, is that we're well past the point where it's clear that young voters just Do This now, and who do you think is going to make up the electorate later?
Connecticut's governor's primary features centrist incumbent Ned Lamont, and cash-strapped non-DSA progressive Josh Elliot, who hasn't even run a TV ad yet. the latest poll finds the race Overall: Lamont 48-27 (Lamont +21). 18-49: Elliott 46-30 (Lamont -16) 50+: Lamont 54-21 (Lamont +33)

Hey! So, this has gotten worse! I previously shared here that Acton and her campaign were set to meet with the ODP Progressive Caucus leadership on the 28th. That's today, and it was a worst case scenario. (1/?)
1. In major news, the Ohio Dem Party has banned the Progressive Caucus from criticizing candidate for Gov. Amy Acton's transphobia. It has now applied more pressure to quiet criticism of anti-trans politics than it has on its own nominee to stop embracing them. Subscribe to support our journalism.
Mock this man if you want, but "we would have won if the other side couldn't fight back" represents a genuine intellectual leap forward on the right.
The US would have won this war if physical reality was totally different lol
