The dark fantasy short film that I wrote, directed, and edited is available to watch now! It’s got big puppets, jokes, slime, animation, practical FX, and ZERO ai slop, if that’s your thing.

My buddy @atommurray.bsky.social's puppet-fantasy short, THE TRAVELER & THE TROLL, is available to watch today. It's under 10 minutes, will make you laugh, keeps Henson's Labyrinth vibes alive, and is pretty darn impressive. Give it a look and tell Adam he done good!

Truly pathetic stuff from a spineless AG who let billionaires steam roll him and gifted him next to nothing. Absolutely toothless after pretending to stand up to monopolies and oligarchs. Embarrassing.
AG Rob Bonta @agrobbonta.oag.ca.gov · 3w agoOver and over, our office has heard from people who would be most impacted by the merger that what matters most is consistent film output, domestic production, and protecting jobs. Today’s settlement protects workers, jobs, and Hollywood. oag.ca.gov/news/press-r...

It has been an obvious, sometimes even almost stated project of Trump 2.0 to engineer a redo of the post George Floyd protests of 2020, this time with much more state violence. And now a federal agent has shot and killed a woman in a car at point blank range a mile from where Floyd was murdered.
I drew this on my lunch break your excuses are fucking pathetic
People who live outside of major metropolitan centres shouldn’t get to vote
US Park Police now doing traffic stops in DC, and charged at me with a baton for filming closer than they liked
I have never been more targeted in my entire fucking life

Millions of people will die because of cutting international aid and this is what these bastards are doing instead.
Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social · last yr.ICE used your taxpayer dollars to trick out a bunch of trucks in new livery, all painted black with "ICE" and a logo printed in gold on the side (and Trump's name in gold on the back window), then shoot a rap video in DC to post on social media. I am not making this up.

Just heard from a source that ~100 ice/cbp guys are in little Tokyo. Then saw this. JANM has detailed and haunting exhibits on Japanese interment. This is particularly ghoulish.
Alex Fernie@ferniecommaalex.bsky.social · last yr.Piece of shit ICE fascists are swarming Little Tokyo. Posted up outside the Japanese American Museum threatening people with internment. Impossible to overstate how disgusting these people are.

Turns out I’m extremely hyped for Marty Supreme. Obsessed with these actors Josh Safdie snatched out of the Coen Brothers universe.
This thread feels plucked from my soul, and because I'm chronically online, it means that I'm also plagued by the new generation of "voices" who don't know film history but instead parrot videos they watched made by other people instead of forming their own thoughts and engaging with art.

Real big time loser behavior to cry over and over about not getting an award and then presenting it to yourself.
