A trans couple has been brutalized by a mob, and then the trans woman ended up being arrested afterwards, at a public bathroom in Louisiana. EITM writer S Baum investigates this horrible act of violence in our latest piece. www.erininthemorning.com/p/trans-coup...

Trans Couple Brutalized At Louisiana Park Bathroom, Then Charged By Police

An angry mob allegedly beat them. The police charged them. The municipality voted for one of the most severe anti-trans bathroom ordinances in the country.

This sucks for devs, but I hope EA turns into a giant loss for it's new owners. I also hope it keeps happening until venture capital realizes the market base for game publishers will abandon them before they become VC pay pigs.

Yeah, this is unfortunately what I think a lot of us were expecting. I would assume that the days of EA putting out functional or good games are drawing to a close, as this acquisition completes.

I mean this sincerely: I think pro Israel people really need to begin internalizing that this is not a fringe opinion anymore and in fact is very statistically likely to be the average view of any brown Democratic candidate for office or any candidate under the age of 50

Just now on @Morning_Joe:
@AbdulElSayed was asked by @WillieGeist whether his critique of Israel is about @netanyahu or Israel itself. He made it clear his problem is with Israel. Lots of references to
"apartheid" and "genocide" that
"pre-date" BiBi.

There has literally never been a better time to cancel your EA play subscription! If you have one. For some reason. We thought EA was bad for the last 20 years. Theyre about to go fucking nuclear.

It is 2006. I am 22. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance. It is 2026. I am 42. The US is mired in a costly Forever War. A predictable historic market collapse looms. I do not have health insurance.

Kinda sounds like Schumer and Gillibrand, the people who have failed to be so much as a speed bump to Trump's agenda, are putting the burden of stopping Trump on the guy who just barely beat out a very well funded party insider.

The DSCC puts out a statement from Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand backing Abdul El-Sayed. This is the first time since 2010 that a DSCC-backed candidate lost in a primary. #MISen

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand released the following statement on Abdul El-Sayed’s primary victory in the Michigan Senate race:

“Abdul El-Sayed has run an energetic campaign that inspired thousands of Michiganders across the state, with a clear focus on lowering costs and standing up for working families.

“Democrats are united by a common purpose: putting a check on Donald Trump by defeating his Republican enablers and taking back the Senate. We look forward to working with Abdul and Democrats across Michigan to win this seat in November.

“Mike Rogers is a rubber stamp for Donald Trump, backing the same reckless agenda that has driven up costs for working families, imposed chaotic tariffs that have hurt Michigan's auto industry, and put special interests ahead of the people of Michigan. Michigan voters already rejected Rogers after he walked through Washington's revolving door to enrich himself. They'll reject him again in November and send Abdul El-Sayed to the United States Senate.”
