SaÑdra💙💯⚽️@sandraherrera.bsky.social · 7h agoBerman asked about teams staying within salary cap compliance/rules (@jennatonelli.bsky.social), and the Commissioner brings up 3 points: 1- all contracts have to be signed by the league, 2- NWSL has a full-time team for Cap compliance, and 3- there are cap audits each year.
When I saw “unconditional release waivers” I assumed it was one of their terrible pitchers, probably Mikolas.
Mark Zuckerman@markzuckerman.bsky.social · 7h agoNationals have requested unconditional release waivers on Joey Wiemer. Surprise star of the season’s first week had been at AAA for months. And when they called up Andrew Pinckney over him yesterday, that was probably the writing on the wall.
Last year’s Republican budget megabill is devastating rural Virginia. Twelve clinics and hospital services have closed since it passed all in rural communities that can least afford to lose care. This is what happens when your rural health care is gutted to fund tax cuts for billionaires.

Was able to play through the 6th but it got tighter along the way. Blake Butera said he thinks García will be good to play Saturday.
