Hey Minnesota won and the nudification technology ban will go into effect tomorrow at 12:00AM!
Don't let the anti-endorsement people find this 💀
i keep thinking about how there was no st paul DFL to hold a convention to endorse for mayor last year, and what role that played in melvin carter getting complacent and not having to campaign and work for votes from delegates early on, and kaohly her winning. this process is candidate selection
I told myself I wanted to budget better and this week really proved that I can do it. Consistency is key.
I never had a candidate knock on my door growing up. Therefore, it’s a priority of mine to always get out and knock doors myself.
As I said, I’ll see X in court.
We love our school board and the amazing parents running to represent their neighbors! Christin Crabtree and Collin Beachy are your Minneapolis School Board At-Large candidates- vote for them before or on August 11!
You’ve got 12 days to vote for @ilhanmn.bsky.social. And if you live in Minneapolis, you’ve got 12 days to vote for your DFL-endorsed candidates for School Board, @christin-with-mpls.bsky.social and @beccaforschools.bsky.social.
The fastest way to socialize something as acceptable in this society is to not take the threat seriously and turn it into a joke. Look at Donald Trump.

There are many questions about the specific allegations made that need to be thoroughly answered by external investigators. Additionally, the public needs clarity now on the current relationship between the Mayor and the Police Department.
In the last 48 hours, Saint Paulites have learned about multiple allegations that Mayor Kaohly Her engaged in sexual harassment and misconduct toward city employees. These allegations are serious, and must be fully and thoroughly investigated.

Every joke will probably not be seen by the mayor of Saint Paul, but it is guaranteed to be seen by survivors - it tells us who doesn’t & doesn’t have our backs. And then people wonder why survivors don’t come forward. 🧐

I know the premise of weiner-gate feels funny because of how absurd it is, but let's remember that we're talking about allegations of sexual harassment.
Her has had sexual harassment allegations basically since the start of her tenure and yall are allowing her to get away with calling it 'attempts at humor' because you started making weiner jokes at 8 in the morning. I'm livid.
The thing about sexual harassment cases is that it isn’t a popularity contest. Even if you ostensibly don’t like the person being harassed, harassment is harassment is harassment. All the wiener jokes are quite a lot! You’ve all pretty much made the same one cuz it is Wednesday! Now be done.
This is it. I will admit to a couple of jokes On Here once I heard the news; as they say at press conferences, My Intent Was Never To Demean (anyone other than the mayor) but when people bring valid perspectives, sometimes regardless of where you were aiming you gotta say: I’m sorry. I’ll do better.
Speaking as someone a little jaded from growing up in NY politics: I think there’s a very real anger and need for catharsis that boils up when an elected shows contempt for their community and its most vulnerable. And they deserve mockery. Our mockery can’t come at the expense of survivors though.
I’m honestly surprised Elon Musk’s attorneys had to file a lawsuit in Minnesota yesterday because also yesterday, Musk’s company had THREE separate lawsuits filed against it for allegedly creating child sexual abuse material and committing image-based sexual violence.
Hmmmmmm my timeline went quiet. Where are the "jokes" now? It's almost as if none of it was funny to begin with. A lot of you need to do some self-reflection and cope with the fact that you failed today.
More details about the Mayor's harassment of people in her administration, including cops: x.com/lounewsman/s... She allegedly made comments about the breasts of a female Deputy Chief, and asked for an opinion on her own. This is textbook sexual harassment.
No way! Who could have predicted this 😱. Maybe the dozens of people telling yall to stop making these "jokes" and downplaying the sexual harassment part of the effing conversation
We love our wiener jokes, but, uh, these other Her allegations are bad bad. x.com/lounewsman/s...
Disappointing take but I've seen a million of them today. You're making light of this woman allegedly harassing these men because the word "weiner" was involved. I do not see what is funny. Please explain the joke.
I think joking about wieners with your friends is very different from joking about wieners in a professional setting using public resources where very clear power dynamics exist. But that’s just me.
Like it's very clear to me who actually read the article and has real principles around not tolerating sexual harassment
