It was a pleasure to join MPR radio to talk about my candidacy for County Attorney. I’ll always be committed to the betterment of working families, and my 100% endorsement rate with labor unions reflects that commitment.

I wasn’t first in line - but I was close! Shoutout to the many Minnesotans that braved the rain to make it out for the first day of early voting today. It is essential we elect real DFLers like Peggy Flanagan, Keith Ellison, Ilhan Omar, and myself - to represent us up and down the ballot!

Had a great time at Cedarfest in Minneapolis this weekend! Our communities deserve leadership with proximity to the issues!

I don’t trust a department of justice overseen by Donald Trump. I didn’t trust it during his first term, when my opponent worked for him, and I certainly don’t trust it now.

It was great to be in community this morning at the Fulton fall festival in Southwest Minneapolis. I’m proud to have the endorsement and trust of Rep. Jamie Long to continue leading on gun violence prevention from the legislature to the County Attorney’s Office.

Today would be my mother’s 65th birthday. Losing her nearly 30 years ago changed my life forever. I’ve missed her every day since, but I’ve never stopped hearing her voice: “Never forget where you came from. Always remember family. And never forget who your friends are.”

I’m proud to have secured the endorsement of the National Association of Social Workers.
