So, you know,, sorry to the individuals who wanted a nice thing but I wanted a nice thing too and instead I got thi Maybe, when you don't celebrate the whole country, EVERYONE who belongs here and lives here, the celebration should go to shit and everyone should be miserable

Look. If you can't find things, even small ones, to fucking love about this country of ours, then what exactly are you so upset about Trump destroying? He's either taking a sledgehammer to things you deeply love and value, or, it's actually fine and worthy of him pissing all over. Pick a lane.

President Obama: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz.”

The Virginia state govt losing most of its electoral support and getting six months of bad press and constant attacks in order to scrape out four new districts while Florida does it overnight with no discussion or controversy is going to be the story of the next few years of post-VRA gerrymandering.

Infiltrating hate groups with informants is something that goes way back to the civil rights era and before. It's never been something only the government can do, especially when the government is more likely to be showing up for the white power happy hour every third Thursday at Chili's.

“you know how you always wanted to be the guy who saves the day when the astronauts call houston with a problem?” “yeah?” “and you know how you hate being the guy everyone comes to when outlook is malfunctioning?” “… yeah?” “I got some good news and some bad news”

right now the astronauts are calling houston because the computer on the spaceship is running two instances of microsoft outlook and they can't figure out why. nasa is about to remote into the computer

bizarre argument that slaves brought to the US against their will have domicile in the US, and owe allegiance to it, but immigrants who came here intentionally, and want to remain, do not have domicile here and do not owe the US any allegiance

you know, it doesn't really matter what my opinion of robert mueller was, the president of the united states saying out loud that he's glad a lifelong public servant is dead is terrible fucking behavior and i don't need to clear my throat about what mueller did or did not do in order to say that

wow -- with Trump standing behind him, a man (not sure who he is) offers this prayer: "We pray that he would be mindful of the poor and that he would be invested in the alleviation of suffering happening in the families preparing to bury their loved ones in Minneapolis."

"Under his mask of generous futurism, the progressive no longer concerns himself with the future, convinced that it holds in store for him neither surprises nor secrets, nothing adventurous nothing essentially new"
