Sources told STAT that application drew interest from top health officials. Given the demographics and the peculiar nature of the application, I asked the WH if this patient was President Trump, who turned 80 a week ago. I did not get a direct answer.

hey hi hello! i’m celebrating another trip around the sun today, and if you've followed me for a while, you know i often use my birthday to fundraise for worthy causes. i’m continuing that tradition today — once again for the Trevor Project. 🏳️‍🌈♥️🏳️‍⚧️ give.thetrevorproject.org/ggb2026 (1/3)

SCOOP: So remember Dialog, Peter Thiel's private society that doesn't have a public website and no public list of members? I (along with a number of other journalists) have just been tipped off that embedded in the code of their closed off website there IS what seems to be a list of some members.

Thing is it’s not just people in Trump country but the people leading our institutions. The people running our schools and universities, running our newsrooms, our courts, etc etc they’re all equally unmoored and/or find it convenient to pretend.

Incredible line from a grand juror in the Broadview 6 case, who had just asked the prosecutors why they get "unlimited tries" to indict people they don't want to indict: "I heard this case like last week and I thought it was a crock of shit then and I still think it is."

MS. MECKLENBURG: Okay. I'm feeling the 09:29:526 skepticism already. Are you going to be able to7 listen with an open mind? Tell me the truth.8 GRAND JUROR: I -- no.9 MS. MECKLENBURG: Okay. Then you have to10 go -- 09:30:0411 GRAND JUROR: I heard this case like last12 week and I thought it was a crock of shit then and I13 still think it is.14 MS. MECKLENBURG: Okay. Thank you for your15 opinion for everybody.

An extraordinary rebuke of Todd Blanche and his Justice Department. Federal judge dismisses the indictment of Abrego Garcia (an exceedingly rare outcome in a criminal case). Finding of vindictive prosecution and "an abuse of prosecuting power." The opinion name checks Blanche nearly 30 times.

Speaking, I assume, to the defendants, Perry thinks "you are entitled to a briefing and perhaps a hearing on the issue of vindictive prosecution should you choose to raise it. She also raises the possibility of sanctions and possible ethics violations for prosecutorial misconduct.

Now, obviously, none of us know what we don't know
and none of us knew about this at the time. At the time of
your motion and my ruling, there was no reason to believe that
there had been anything vindictive or selective about the
prosecutors' actions. We all took the government attorneys'
word on a great many things.
I, at the time, was operating on a presumption of
regular grand jury proceedings, which these were very clearly
not.
So based upon what I've seen in the grand jury
transcripts, the calculus has changed and it has changed
considerably.
So I also think you are entitled to a briefing and
perhaps a hearing on the issue of vindictive prosecution
should you choose to raise it.
I think there is also a potential here, separate and
apart from the merits of this case and how this case ends up
proceeding, on sanctions for prosecutorial misconduct and for
potential ethical violations, including lack of candor to the
Court. That is a separate issue from how you all proceed with
the trial and the motions that you bring, and it will be dealt
with separately.

JUST IN: U.S. District Judge April Perry has called a sealed hearing Thursday in the case of the remaining members of the Broadview Six. She has ordered "any AUSA who participated in the decision to redact portions of the grand jury transcripts … to appear in person."

MINUTE entry before the Honorable April M. Perry: Hearing to be held 5/21/2026 at 11:00 a.m. in person in Courtroom 1725 on the motion for disclosure of prosecutor's instructions of the law to the grand jury 143 . Any AUSA who participated in the decision to redact portions of the grand jury transcripts, whether on the trial team or at the supervisory level, is ordered to appear in person at the hearing. Due to the anticipated discussion of grand jury materials and in an effort to avoid tainting the jury venire, the proceedings will be conducted under seal. Mailed notice. (jcc,) (Entered: 05/20/2026)

With trial about a week away for the remaining members of the "Broadview 6," a hearing Monday revolved around whether they’ll be held accountable for their own actions — or that of the “mob.” From @chicago.suntimes.com: chicago.suntimes.com/immigration/...

Some new, bad-for-Texas-Republicans research just dropped. "Our findings indicate an exhaustion issue with Republican voters... We cannot afford to simply hope that they’ll show up on election day for us."

Ragnar research: Our findings indicate an exhaustion issue with Republican voters, due to a lack of enthusiasm and in extreme
cases, the direction of the Republican party and the current administration. As we move into the general elections this year, we need to keep a close eye on which voters continue to opt out of participating and what’s driving that behavior. We cannot afford to simply hope that they’ll show up on election day for us.
