The #AMOC by 2100 will thus be so weak (~8 Sv) that it is very likely on the way to full shutdown, as our study last year showed: iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1... In my view, this now makes a full #AMOC shutdown more likely than not. Definitely not a low likelihood risk, as we used to think.

If you think "low information voters" are a problem now, the tidal wave of people who used AI to cheat their way through HS & college has not yet hit. If they vote at all, their critical thinking skills will be severely limited. Same folks will be staffing ERs & flying commercial jets--what then?
