This is why the Democratic strategy that keeps getting floated of "gerrymander to win enough seats to pass a ban on gerrymandering" is DOA unless we're willing and able to geld the Supreme Court as well.

The fact that professors in math, chemistry, and biology are all 80-90% Democrats -- disciplines where the vast majority of research & teaching content is apolitical -- reinforces this point. www.nas.org/wp-content/u... (registration ratios from: www.nas.org/blogs/articl...)

Academic work can be bad or misconceived or subject to partisan capture, of course, but a field’s misalignment with the political spectrum outside the field isn’t reliable evidence of that.

if any of the following were to happen, would it cause congressional republicans to remove trump? which ones, if any? 1. trump does nuclear strike on iran 2. trump does nuclear strike on cuba 3. trump does nuclear strike on denmark or canada

another person congressional dems should question at public hearings. especially these private sector fascism enablers - they will look bad and be unable to defend their actions. the goal is to learn and show how bad they are and deter others.

Some children in Dilley were so distraught they cut themselves or talked about suicide, parents told ProPublica. They said kids lost their appetites after finding worms and mold on their food, had trouble sleeping, and were constantly sick.

www.startribune.com/mn-feds-hara... the complaint includes intense death threats / harassment against an FBI agent's family, which is bad. but the home drive-by harassment sounds identical to ICE/CBP's own intimidation tactics they use against Minneapolis civilians. it's ok when the feds do it?

“After the employees’ personal information and documentation was compromised,” the complaint read, “several of the documents, including residential addresses, phone numbers, and emails, were posted publicly online on social media.”

It would not be long, the complaint continued, before “approximately 10 to 15 FBI agents and employees ... began receiving multiple harassing and threatening phone calls and emails and suspicious drive-bys to their residences, where vehicles would slow down as they passed the employees’ residences before driving away.”
