Yesterday, voters made it very clear that they want a new generation of Democratic fighters. We need a leader in the Senate who is capable of leading that fight. It’s time for Senate Democrats to choose new leadership.

Giving up on day one is a hell of a choice. Impeachment is an important political tool even outside of conviction. It is not true that impeaching the president serves no one's interests.

Among other things, the guy is a one-man recruitment engine for Democrats! Impeach Vought, or Hegseth, sure. A failed impeachment of Trump would not serve anyone's interests.

Genuinely, getting a bunch of messages from constituents the day after the election saying SO GLAD WE WON, CONGRATS, DO NOT LISTEN TO JEFFRIES AND SCHUMER, THESE WINS WERE BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT CONSEQUENCES AND A REBUKE OF GOP HATE AND TRANSPHOBIA is EXTREMELY USEFUL AND IMPORTANT
Called my senators and congressman (all are incumbents who won so they are in office NOW) and left messages with the Senator but actually got a real person at Frank Pallone's office and got to make sure to pressure that we want CONSEQUENCES and TRIALS and SUPPORT FOR TRANS LIVES Now you do it

Every metric in Texas including but especially the victory margin in his own race shows Talarico coulda won without throwing trans people under the bus. Every politician that did that, it’s a choice they made because they believe some people are expendable.
