My entire life growing up, the entire world and society around me told me "just commit yourself", "work hard", "college is optional and for super specific vocations", "you will achieve what we have of you do", and more. What a load of shit. Lied to my entire life. Things will never improve.
Maple developed a blood clot suddenly. It paralyzed her lower half and caused fluid to start filling her lungs. She's already gone. It took 2 hours to go from everything is normal, to something is wrong, to us having to say goodbye. I held her as we said goodbye. I'm so sorry. We'll meet again.

Lots of excitement about the squeaky beach sounds in Big Walk! You'll all be happy to know it's the real thing! Was absolutely giddy to get to record them on an actual Australian squeaky beach in Wilson's Promontory. Yes, if you didn't know some beaches there really do squeak. It is pure joy.
