every billionaire & tech mogul, they all want to be adored & celebrated without doing the things Dolly did with a fraction of the power & money. What she had, she gave away. I'm sure she was comfortable (& that's good!). But she just relentlessly helped. It's not that difficult. Love. Care. Help. 💚🌸

bought candy at the pool for a 13yo and she tried to give me cash. i was like nahh it's nbd, and she goes "girl i have seen your car." 13yo girls remain undefeated. you think you're talking to a child but you're actually talking to whatever gods used to send to punish mortals for their hubris

I think someone in Hollywood should write a movie about a philanthropist who gives away all his money and cast Jared Leto in the role and see how committed he is to method acting when the method isn't just being an asshole

I think a lot of people who are running the rape supporter's handbook are deeply unaware that it is the rape supporter's handbook. The rape supporter's handbook is such a normal part of the average lexicon that you have to interrogate it to understand how it works.

Once again, we focus on the wrong things to support women's athletics. So many abuses still exist in the training and coaching side, doping remains a huge issue, inequalities in funding or training resources, but sure let's hyper-focus on this. The IOC continues to disappoint.

if you want to know the history of this kind of policy, I made a podcast two years ago that explained why these tests make no sense, how they were already used and eventually abandoned by the IOC in the 80's and 90's, and the devastating impacts they have on real athletes: www.tested-podcast.com
