Folks, turns out the "Would you still like it if AI was banned" guy was doing a very poorly phrased thought experiment. I'm super OK dunking on anyone suggesting we "need" AI but I'm less OK dunking on someone wondering what this means for our world. So with my apologies, I deleted that post.

Texas isn't a red state. It's a state held hostage by gerrymandering and voter suppression. Hell, earlier this week they announced they're shutting down half the voting centers in Tarrant County (that's Fort Worth, 2.2 million people) and kicked everyone out of the hearing who wanted to comment.

After talking to a young writer last night, I want to remind you all that it's okay to write without an assignment or goal. Write to explore a new technique, get an idea out of your head, or as emotional exhalation. Write for the raw joy of it. For you alone. It doesn't need to go into a portfolio
