The thing about burrito discourse is that broadly people under 40 have decided the economy does not provide the living standard they want, on everything from housing to gas to the price of going out. Whether or not this is an irrational belief is irrelevant, somebody has to successfully address it.

It's crazy that 50% of the country remembers the mass death and disruptions to their lives from Covid and 50% of the country thinks they lived through a holocaust because they couldn't dine in at an Applebee's for a month.
