BikeSD

@bikesd.bsky.social

BikeSD is a nonprofit organization working to transform San Diego into a world-class city for bicycling through policy analysis, advocacy and outreach.

Join BikeSD and Vision Zero Coalition members for a celebration of the FY27 Budget @ Original 40 Brewing Company! We didn't get everything we wanted, but that's rarely the case, and it's important to celebrate wins, big or small, when doing this work 🚲❤️

One of the lesser known cuts in Mayor Gloria's draft budget targets the city's multi-modal team, the team responsible for the lifesaving street updates. Traffic safety IS public safety. Join us for a bike ride and rally on May 9th to demand that Mayor Gloria keeps investing in traffic safety

Freeway Exit is an excellent podcast and it was a privilege to get to talk with Andrew in person. Also, San Diego needs to shut down State Highway 163 through Balboa Park! Parks are for people, not cars.

Really enjoyed talking with @brooklynspoke.bsky.social and @sgoodyear.bsky.social while they were in San Diego promoting "Life After Cars." They met me in Balboa Park (in the pouring rain!) so we could see, hear and discuss the ways cars have impacted our most precious public spaces. Have a listen!

This was an amazing event. Great to see so many community members from across the San Diego advocacy organizations.

I can't stop smiling from last night. @thewaroncars.bsky.social delivered much-needed encouragement to fight the good fight with Life After Cars, along with tons of laughs and (deserved) dragging of SD car culture. Best part was just watching all the head nods, pops & cheers from such a stoked crowd

With our 3rd annual Gears & Cheers fundraiser only 2 days away, we have to thank the incredible sponsors who make our work possible. Foundations, businesses, organizations, and many individuals are together in this fight to make San Diego a safer place to bike for all ages and abilities. Thank you!
