I wrote about this NYC congestion pricing study earlier this year, noting that most driving time savings accrues to people who never venture into the zone at all (i.e., driving within Queens or Long Island). IOW some of the most vociferous critics of CP are among its biggest beneficiaries.

this comparison leaves out a key point: the Edsel sold roughly twice the Cybertruck's volume at a time when the overall car market was just 6m units/year instead of the current 16m units/year that makes the Cybertruck the much, much bigger flop, hands down

The strategic reality should be clear by now. Each night of US strikes and Iranian sideways retaliation, makes the US weaker and Iran stronger. It depletes more US stocks, makes the US look weak to its partners, and reinforces to the Iranians that their strategy is the right one.
Cuba has a highly capable and effective intelligence service but there's virtually no evidence of effective political influence. Hence phrases like "not controlled by Cuban agents, per se", "ideological victory" and weak assertions of "de facto policy orthodoxy on the American far left".
