In Mario Kart: Double Dash, shadows in the environment do not follow any kind of lighting logic and appear to have been placed solely based on "vibe". This results in shadows being cast in nearly every possible direction at the same time.

long hair is great because you get to step out of the shower and anxiously wonder if it's normal to shed this much and spend the rest of your life subtly haunted by the fear that you're unknowingly doing something horrible to it

Watched Captain America 2 with Maddie. Washington DC looks like a fake city. Every building looks like it was built with the expectation that you'd never see it up close. I bet the textures are blurry.

Happy late birthday to Dawn of Darkness, a Quake 2 mod I contributed to when I was a high school teen I only just learned today that some on the team would later make Control & Wolfenstein The New Order?? Some of my favorite games!!!!!! I made this very cool airship for the mod:

the more I shop around the more I understand the stereotype of the trans woman in doc martens because where the hell else are you supposed to get decent boots in Tall Girl Sizes

the problem with having a shared diet of brainrot is eventually you and your partner develop an inscrutable shared language where you say shit like "the pan on the stove is charles leclerc" and you both just nod sagely

saw someone ask if Tokon was a good entry-level fighting game and I dunno how to answer that because like... sure, you have simplified inputs and autocombos, but the game also feels like such an overstimulating information overload with weird opaque rules for when you can and can't do stuff, so ????

[dropping c.viper inputs] i'm trash. my inputs are trash. my fingers are trash. anyone could do this clean. only I personally could fumble such an easy high jump cancel. [watching world-class tournament players drop c.viper inputs] maybe I'm not the problem actually
