i've run into a similar thing where some people seem to approach movies and books as mysteries that need to be solved rather than experiences to be enjoyed it's an amusement ride not a quiz fuckin relax

It took me a while, but I finally finished David Kalat's book on the Godzilla series I appreciate the bit of insight into the actual production of the various films until Final Wars, as well as giving background to each entry in terms of where the market and cultural trends were at the time

it might seem like my mood swings back and forth wildly from day to day, but it's because this time of the year goes by so slow for me that every day feels like a week i manage to wake up every day and have a full build-up/meltdown and then undo that which i guess means i have crazy mood swings
